Computer Science and Technology (For International Students)

 

1. Objectives

Computer Science and Technology is to provide internationally competitive undergraduate education, aiming to cultivate application-oriented talents in the fields of computer science and engineering, who know China well and are friendly to China. It is designed to prepare students with basic knowledge, theories and skills as an engineering technician, with social sense of responsibility, innovation consciousness, practice ability, cognitive ability, team cooperation and communication ability, in order to be employed in computer engineering and relevant areas such as application development, operation and maintenance management and technical research of software and hardware system.

2. Qualifications

To be familiar with domestic and international policies, laws and regulations of the industry, to abide by professional ethics and norms at work, and to have a sense of social responsibility.

To gain practical engineering experience, and to take advantage of the latest technologies and tools to solve complex technical problems in computer engineering.

To be capable of showing teamwork spirits, responsibility, independent thinking and self-management.

To be skillful in project management and communication .

To be able to gain insight into the trend of industrial technology development, to adapt to technological progress through lifelong learning, and maintain professional competitiveness.

3. Length of schooling, School Years and Degree

Length of schooling: 4 years

School Years: 3-6 years

Degree: Bachelor of Engineering

Comprehensive Chinese, Overview of China, C Programming, Discrete Mathematics, Data Structure, Circuits and Electronic Technology, Digital Circuits and Logic, Computer Organization Principles, Database System, Operating System, Object-oriented Programming, Software Engineering, Computer Networks, Mobile Programming.
